Resource Center of Dallas

Client Services, Clinical Trials, HIV Education, an HIV/AIDS Library, Insurance
Assistance Program, Wellness/Early Intervention, Food Pantry, Hot Lunch Program,

The purpose of the AIDS Resource Center is to provide individuals with the
vital services they need, to reduce the spread of HIV infection by providing
education on risk-reduction, to reduce fear and discrimination directed toward
those with HIV and AIDS, and to ensure support by collaborating with other
service agencies, in order to maintain the best possible quality of life
for people affected by and living with AIDS or HIV.
The AIDS Resource Center Nutrition Center (Food Pantry) assists Center Clients
in meeting basic nutritional needs and supporting a dietary goal of approximately
3,500 calories per day.
The Nelson-Tebedo Health Resource Center has been serving the community
for over 10 years, and provides HIV testing with counseling, STD testing
and treatment, a full service dental clinic for clients, Hepatitis vaccinations,
health monitoring, medical case management for persons diagnosed with HIV,
treatment education, muscle to fat body composition analysis, and clinical
trials.
The Resource Center of Dallas has grown to become the nation’s third-largest
